Review AI-Generated Image Metadata in Adobe Bridge

Adobe Bridge is useful for checking the descriptive metadata that a compatible file exposes. Pair a small exported sample with a visual review before applying a stock metadata workflow to an entire folder.

Prepare a small sample first

Select a few representative assets and keep untouched source copies in a separate folder. In CSV Metadata, generate the first draft and review titles and keywords against each image. Use the supported embedded output when testing file metadata: the current writer supports JPG/JPEG, PNG and SVG. If your main task is importing a contributor CSV, treat that as a separate workflow. A CSV file beside an image does not automatically become embedded metadata.

Inspect the fields Bridge displays

Open your exported sample in Bridge and select the relevant file. Use its metadata controls to inspect the descriptive information that is available for that format. Compare the displayed title, description and keywords with the values you reviewed in the generator. Adobe documents the metadata panel and metadata templates; consult that documentation for your installed version rather than assuming that every field name or location is identical across versions.

Check content accuracy as well as field presence

A non-empty field is not proof of a useful description. Confirm that the subject, object count, materials and scene details fit the asset. Remove unsupported identities, brands and locations. Check the keyword list for repetitions and make sure that the strongest concepts are easy to identify. If a PNG is transparent, verify the file visually and correct any background wording that describes an analysis preview instead of the original artwork.

Use templates for shared facts carefully

A metadata template can be useful for information that really applies to a group of files. It should not overwrite the individual subject descriptions of different assets. Keep ownership or copyright information grounded in your records rather than generated from the picture. If you apply a template or save edits in Bridge, re-open a sample and compare it with the pre-edit output so you know which fields changed and whether the next application still reads them.

Finish in the actual contributor workflow

For a marketplace CSV import, use the corresponding contributor preset and check the current template. Match the final filenames, inspect the output and confirm the values displayed after upload. Bridge inspection is one useful checkpoint; it does not establish that a particular marketplace will accept every file type or copy every embedded field. Keep the reviewed metadata so that a format or field-mapping correction can be made without generating a new description from scratch.
